According to the regulatory model for the ground handling sector, the sector must remain with a single operator until it reaches, individually by airport, the following annual traffic:
- Handling of 2,000,000 or more boarding passengers;
- Handling 25,000 tonnes of cargo.
Increase in passengers
In 2023 there were around 1.2 million passengers handled by CV Handling at Cape Verde's airports, representing an increase of 19 per cent compared to 2022.
Assisted aircraft
In 2023 there were 13,300 aircraft handled by CV Handling at Cape Verde's airports, an increase of 12 per cent compared to 2022.
